Three exits, one platform, one clear idea
Faisal Mushtaq founded TechCon Global in 2019 after two decades building and scaling technology companies. His career began at Cisco Systems, then ran through three startups to successful exits — Wichorus to Tellabs, Ortiva Wireless to Allot, and PLUMgrid to VMware.
He went on to lead GlobalLogic’s cloud and DevOps practice, helping set up its $9.6 billion acquisition by Hitachi, then spent five years as SVP and CTO at Sleep Number, where he built the SleepIQ® AI platform — growing it 600% to three million users and processing 1.8 petabytes of data a year.
Today he leads TechCon Global as a multi-city innovation conference platform, while also founding Conphere, an AI platform for how organizations build, collaborate and innovate. He holds an MSEE from Purdue University and an MBA from Santa Clara University, and remains an active angel investor.
