MICHAEL HOCHMAN is a recognized practitioner and advises industry-leading companies in bet-the-company
investigation, litigation, and regulatory enforcement matters. He has also worked closely with critical infrastructure
sector clients on complex compliance issues related to the U.S. Department of Justice’s Data Security Program.
Prior to joining the firm, Michael served as Chief of Staff for the White House Office of the National Cyber Director
(ONCD). ONCD was established in 2021 to advise the President of the United States on cybersecurity policy and
strategy to advance national security, economic prosperity, and technological innovation through cybersecurity
policy leadership. Michael also served as Deputy General Counsel and Deputy Chief of Staff at ONCD.
