Osman Rashid is a Pakistani-American entrepreneur and innovator based in Silicon Valley, California. He is best known as the co-founder and CEO of Chegg, the pioneering online textbook rental and student platform. Osman later founded Kno, Inc., a digital education company acquired by Intel in 2013.
He also founded Galxyz, an award-winning educational software firm for K–8 learners. Currently, he serves as CEO of Convo Corp, a global enterprise collaboration platform. He is the co-founder and chairman of SOAR Education, advancing affordable STEM education. Osman also leads Khoj Resorts, promoting sustainable hospitality and tourism development. He chairs Khan Academy Pakistan and Jaglot Gathering, focused on technology and policy innovation. A University of Minnesota graduate in electrical engineering, he has received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award and was named to Forbes Impact 15.
