Mark Lonergan is the Founder and Chairman of Lonergan Partners. He specializes in CEO and Board placements in technology companies. His recent CEO and senior executive assignments include clients such as A10 Networks, Model N, FireEye, Dell, Gigamon, Groq, Brocade, d-Matrix, Xilinx, Infoblox, Infinera, Teradata, Infineon, Fortinet, Lumentum, and many other technology companies, both public and privately held.

Since 1992, Mark has conducted more than 500 senior executive assignments at technology companies. He is the former Chairman of the Board and CEO of the Silicon Valley Directors Exchange, working with the Stanford Rock Center for Corporate Governance to educate corporate boards in the Silicon Valley.

 

Prior to founding Lonergan Partners, Mark was the Managing Partner for the Silicon Valley offices of Heidrick & Struggles. While at Heidrick, Mark co-founded and managed its global Telecommunications and Internet Practice, comprising 75 search teams worldwide. Before his career in executive search, Mark held numerous operating roles, culminating in the role of Worldwide VP Sales & Marketing at a $2 billion public telecom equipment supplier.

 

Mark has an MBA from Northwestern and a BA degree from Vanderbilt. He also received an education serving in Alaska as an enlisted man in the US Army. Mark’s passions include the Chicago Cubs and golf. He works alongside his partner and wife, Susan, with whom he also likes to travel (when it’s possible), cook, and coach youth sports.
