Denny Chared began his career as one of the first online journalists, covering Wall Street for Globes Business Daily. In 2003 he later founded DC Finance, a global family office community that has grown into one of the world’s largest networks of high net worth and ultra-high net worth families, with conferences, private gatherings, and curated experiences in over 20 cities worldwide.
In 2023, Mr. Chared launched the Family Office Circle Club, an ultra-high net worth private members club chaired by Lisa Silverstein, CEO of Silverstein Properties. The club hosts highly confidential private events, often held at the homes of some of the world’s most prominent families, in destinations aligned with DC Finance conference locations around the globe.
In 2026, Mr. Chared was selected by iHeartRadio, the world’s largest podcast platform, to host its first dedicated family office show. Through this program, he interviews leading global families. The first episodes are with family members of Spielberg, Crown, Silverstein, Thompson of 7-Eleven, Purdue of Purdue Chicken and Sheraton Hotels among many others. The show is distributed to millions of listeners worldwide.
Over the past year alone, speakers and participants across DC Finance stages and affiliated events have included members of families such as Spielberg, Wrigley, Pritzker, Crown, Zuckerberg, Firestone, Musk, Bush, Lauren (Ralph), Mars, Arison and others.
Mr. Chared lives in Rye, New York, with his wife Linga and their five children. Outside of his professional activities, he is a musician who plays guitar and piano, and a dedicated vintage Star Wars toy collector.
Fun fact. Mr. Chared is convinced he is funny and in his early years even performed standup comedy, a claim that remains unverified by audiences.
