Dr. Jungwoo Lee is Co-Founder and CEO of South 8 Technologies, whose liquefied gas electrolyte lithium-ion batteries are powering mission-critical applications in the most demanding environments. She has a diverse background in developing and commercializing innovative technology solutions to disrupt the energy landscape. She is an expert in next-generation battery materials and devices, earning her Ph.D. from the University of California San Diego. Before founding South 8, she served as an engineer at Panasonic and MIT, managing device fabrication, process development, and equipment systems for next-generation solar cell technologies.
