Mike Rondelli has been part of the technology market since graduating, starting in investment banking, then venture capital, and transitioning into university technology transfer. He restarted the office at SDSU and grew it into one of the most impactful offices of its type relative to the size of university research expenditures, and is proud to see that his final hire has continued to expand the office since leaving. He has also reimagined USC’s office, making it profitable during his tenure in their office. More recently, he has retired from the University of North Texas, where he started its office, built its incubator and innovation ecosystem, and managed all research contracting. Since retiring, he is a co-founder of a deterministic AI company that is still partially in stealth mode.
