Tallat is the Founder and CEO of Vectara, an AI Agent platform built to meet enterprise requirements for security, accuracy, scalability, and observability.
Prior to Vectara, Tallat previously led search infrastructure and data storage initiatives at Google, and contributed to an event-driven distributed platform for building reliable and scalable apps at Microsoft Research. Tallat has a strong educational background in distributed systems. He has a PhD from KTH, Sweden where he focused on large-scale distributed systems, distributed algorithms, data-intensive systems, cloud computing, and peer-to-peer systems.
Tallat specializes in designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale distributed systems that are fault-tolerant, reliable, and scalable. He successfully applied his experience to build a RAG and Agentic AI platform at Vectara, used to solve complex usecases and build workflows for several large enterprises.
