Possessing over 2 decades of leadership experience, Dr. Kyle Hoedebecke is a West Point graduate and certified physician executive who has served in over 120 countries. In addition to his medical degree, he holds 4 Master degrees and 2 professional Fellowships. While in the US Army – the Surgeon General selected him as the US Army Physician of the Year in 2017. Dr. Kyle went on to serve as the first UM Medical Director at Oscar Health where he grew his team and helped take the company public in 2021. Dr. Kyle now leverages his vast experience as the Managing Partner of 1836 Ventures, making investments in novel healthcare technologies that improve clinical outcomes, enhance patient satisfaction, and reduce medical costs.
